OUR STORY

Kara Puckett is the founder and president of Nashville Foster Love Closet. Kara and her husband are Nashville natives that have been married since 2018. Kara has two biological sons and one foster daughter. Kara grew up in a family that was always helping others. Fostering is something that was on Kara's heart for a long time. Once Kara and her husband started the process of becoming a foster home, they saw the need for more support for foster families.

In her free time, Kara enjoys spending time with her family and three dogs or helping with the youth group at her church.

Heather Martin is the vice president of Nashville Foster Love Closet. Heather is a wife and mother with a fur baby named Wolfie and a son named Drew that was born in 2022. Married to her college sweetheart since 2002, Michael and Heather have lived in Texas, Florida and are happy to be back in Tennessee close to family and friends. Heather has over 10 years of teaching experience in both public and private schools. Working with different performing arts organizations, non profit boards, her church's parish council and in education, Heather brings a wealth of knowledge to NFLC.In her spare time Heather enjoys crafting, playing her flute and spending time with family and friends.

Todd serves as the treasurer for Nashville Foster Love Closet. He has been married to his wife, Jill, since 1991. They have four children together. Todd and his family have lived in six states and three countries. He is a US Army veteran, professional electrical engineer, and the Executive Vice President of Energy Delivery at Silicon Ranch.

Todd and his wife have volunteered to work with kids through many nonprofit organizations over the years and they enjoy giving back to the community in which they live.

Lynn Anton is the Secretary of Nashville Foster Love Closet. Lynn has been married to her husband, Greg since 1988. They have three children and five grandchildren. One of her grandchildren is a child in foster care. Lynn has been a Registered Nurse since 1980. Lynn has worked in the ICU, cardiac cath lab, and currently does research for a pharmaceutical company. Lynn has organized and been on over 40 medical missions to Haiti. Her work in Haiti includes starting four orphanages, a full-time medical clinic, part-time dental clinic, a micro-credit program, school sponsorship program, and built a preschool. Lynn has a heart for caring and sharing. Giving back is a lifelong mission for her.

In her spare time, Lynn likes to ride her horses, kayak, work on her farm, go 4-wheeling, have bonfires, and spend time with family and friends.
